Your application and deposit should be submitted 4 months or more prior to departure to insure availability. The trip begins with three nights in Lourdes followed by a week-long Seine River cruise from Paris to the heart of Normandy. On the trip we will have the wonderful advantage of seeing the countryside in leisure. Relax in a deck chair or in the ship’s comfortable lounge and watch the scenery. Also available is an optional walk through other areas of the shrine and town visiting the underground basilica, the birth house of Saint Bernadette Soubirous, and the home of the parents of Bernadette.Visiting France on the River Seine offers a comfortable way to visit historic towns and villages of Normandy. Alaska. Nine-day trip with an 8 day - 7-night cruise to America’s last frontier. This is a new Golden Frontier itinerary including a full day land excursion to Anchorage. Fly to Vancouver, British Columbia Canada to board the Norwegian Jewel of Norwegian Cruise Line. You will visit some of Alaska’s most incredible destinations. The Jesuit missionaries have a long history of religious endeavor in Alaska. From our ship we pass massive glaciers and snow-capped mountains. We sail from Vancouver, cruising Alaska’s Inside Passage. Besides Vancouver, ports of call include Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway You’ll sail in Glacier Bay and cruise by Hubbard Glacier, a truly majestic sight, before disembarking at Seward, Alaska. Glacier Bay is a “National Park and Preserve, a United Nations World Heritage Site. Comprised of 3.3 million acres of natural wonders, it is home to magnificent glaciers, snow-capped mountains and abundant birds and wildlife.” National Park Rangers board our cruise ship and provide narration while viewing these incredible sights. For the first time, we’ve included shore excursions in Ketchikan and Skagway. Golden Frontier guests will enjoy a Ketchikan city tour and the White Pass Summit Train in Skagway. “This forty-mile round trip train excursion climbs from tidewater at Skagway to the Summit of the White Pass - a 2,888-foot elevation. This narrated tour passes through two tunnels, over sky-high trestles and cascading waterfalls.” You experience inland Alaska sights not viewable from the cruise ship. In addition to these excursions, Golden Frontier has included a full one-day extension before flying home from Anchorage. The scenic Seward Highway to Anchorage showcases the history and scenery of one of the most beautiful Alaska Highways. The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center is the perfect picture opportunity for Bears, Moose, Caribou, Bison, Musk Oxen, Deer, Elk and Bald Eagles. The majestic Alyeska Mountain Tram has great views of seven Glaciers. The excursion includes city tours of Seward and Anchorage, too. The escorted and narrated excursion includes lunch and admissions for group attractions. Our evening return flight home from Anchorage extends into the next morning, making this a nine-day trip.
